John Bourgeois is a bilingual actor, director and educator. Life and career John Bourgeois was born in Ottawa. He received his training at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London and Concordia University in Montreal, where he obtained a B.A. in English and Theatre. He has appeared in leading and character roles on stages in Montreal, Toronto, Edmonton, Regina, Fredericton, as well as the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, Off-Broadway, and the Walnut Street theatre in Philadelphia. He has appeared in several leading roles for the Manitoba Theatre Centre. As a director, he's staged both modern and classic plays across Canada and has produced and directed several short films.
