He appeared in numerous stage productions before landing the role of Kip on The New Leave It To Beaver[1] Career Marcus first rose to teen-idol stardom with his role as Kip Cleaver in the hit television sitcom The New Leave It To Beaver co-starring with Barbara Billingsley, Tony Dow, and Jerry Mathers, as the eldest son of the adult Theodore "Beaver" Cleaver. After his role in the film Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday, Marcus turned to screenwriting for his next film Let It Snow in which he also starred. At the AFI Fest, 1999, Marcus won the award for Best New Writing for the film Let It Snow. He has also been honored with the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Actor, as well as nominations for two national Young Artist Awards for Best Young Actor.[2] Personal life On October 11, 2003 Marcus married his Let It Snow co-star, Alice Dylan.
